Perplexity is the Beginning of Knowledge. Embrace It.

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled amidst towering mountains, there lived a young and curious girl named Maya. Maya possessed an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a burning desire to unravel the mysteries of the world. She would spend hours poring over ancient books, asking endless questions, and seeking wisdom from the village elders.

One day, as Maya was exploring the outskirts of the village, she stumbled upon a hidden cave. Intrigued by its enigmatic aura, she ventured inside, her heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. The cave was dimly lit, with faint whispers of secrets echoing off the walls. As Maya pressed forward, her curiosity grew stronger, propelling her deeper into the unknown.

Within the heart of the cave, she discovered an ornate chest adorned with intricate symbols. Maya's eyes sparkled with wonder as she reached out and carefully opened it. Inside, she found a single scroll, aged and fragile, but brimming with timeless wisdom. The words inscribed on the scroll read: "Perplexity is the beginning of knowledge."

Maya pondered those words, realizing that the path to enlightenment often begins with uncertainty and bewilderment. She understood that true learning is not found in complacency or accepting things at face value, but rather in embracing the complexities of life and the questions that arise from them.

With newfound determination, Maya returned to her village, eager to share her discovery with others. She organized gatherings where villagers could engage in thought-provoking discussions, encouraging them to embrace perplexity as a catalyst for growth and understanding. The village soon became a hub of intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness, where people from all walks of life gathered to exchange ideas and challenge one another's perspectives.

As time passed, Maya's village thrived, becoming a beacon of knowledge and innovation. People discovered that by embracing their own perplexity and engaging in meaningful dialogue, they could uncover solutions to the most pressing problems. They realized that the journey toward knowledge was not about finding definitive answers but rather about asking the right questions and exploring the uncharted territories of the mind.

Maya's humble village grew into a center of learning, attracting scholars, philosophers, and seekers of wisdom from far and wide. The lesson of perplexity being the beginning of knowledge had spread, igniting a thirst for understanding in the hearts of countless individuals.

And so, the story of Maya and her village teaches us that it is through embracing perplexity, questioning the status quo, and engaging in open-minded exploration that true knowledge is born. It is in the pursuit of answers, rather than the certainty of having them, that we unlock the vast potential of our minds and create a world where curiosity thrives and understanding flourishes.

Don't Go After Meaningless Goals

A farmer had a dog who used to sit by the roadside waiting for vehicles to come around. As soon as one came he would run down the road, barking and trying to overtake it.

One day a neighbor asked the farmer , ”do you think your dog is ever going to catch a car?”. The farmer replied, that is not what bothers me. What bothers me is what he would do if he ever caught one.

Many people in life behave like that dog who is pursuing meaningless goals.
Life is hard by the yard, but by the inch, it's a cinch.

Importance of Keeping Secrets to Yourself

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled at the foot of a majestic mountain, there lived a young and curious girl named Luna. She was known for her bright eyes and mischievous smile, which always seemed to hold a secret. Luna had a peculiar habit of whispering her deepest secrets to the wind, believing that it would carry them away, never to be heard again.

One fine day, Luna stumbled upon an ancient oak tree in the heart of the forest. It stood tall and wise, its branches reaching out like welcoming arms. Intrigued by its presence, Luna approached the tree and decided to share one of her secrets—the one she held closest to her heart.

With the wind as her confidant, Luna whispered softly, "Oh, gentle wind, I must tell you a secret. I am in love with a boy from our village, but no one knows. It's a secret I cannot keep within me any longer." She closed her eyes and felt a sense of relief, believing that the wind would carry her secret away, leaving no trace behind.

Unbeknownst to Luna, the wind has a playful spirit of its own. It traveled through the dense forest, weaving in and out of the towering trees, dancing and whistling with joy. As the wind soared through the branches, it couldn't resist sharing Luna's secret with the majestic oak tree.

The wise old oak tree listened attentively, its leaves rustling in response. It knew the weight of secrets and the importance of trust. The oak tree contemplated what to do with this newfound knowledge, realizing that secrets have a way of affecting people's lives.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, as the secret lingered within the oak tree's branches. Finally, the wise oak decided it was time to reveal Luna's secret to her, in a way that would teach her a valuable lesson.

One sunny afternoon, as Luna wandered through the forest, she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder. Startled, she turned around and gasped at the sight of the ancient oak tree. "Hello, Luna," the tree spoke, its voice full of wisdom.

Luna's eyes widened in surprise. "How... How do you know my name?" she asked, her voice trembling.

The oak tree swayed gently, its branches casting a comforting shadow over Luna. "I know more than just your name, Luna. I know your secrets too."

Fear and confusion engulfed Luna's heart. She couldn't comprehend how the oak tree had come to possess her secret.

"You shared your secret with the wind, Luna," the oak tree continued. "But remember, the wind carries more than just whispers. It carries stories, feelings, and truths. It brought your secret to me, for secrets are not easily contained."

Luna's eyes welled up with tears, regret seeping into her heart. "I never thought the wind would betray me. I trusted it," she confessed.

The oak tree nodded knowingly. "Indeed, Luna, the wind is but a messenger. It holds no responsibility for where it delivers its cargo. The true lesson lies in the act of revealing your secrets. Trust must be placed with those who are worthy, for the wind will always find its way to share the truth."

Luna bowed her head in understanding. She realized that her careless trust in the wind had led to her secret being exposed. From that day forward, she resolved to be more discerning in choosing whom she shared her secrets with.

As Luna bid farewell to the oak tree, a newfound wisdom took root within her. She understood that she alone held the power to protect her secrets and guard her heart. No longer would she blame the wind for revealing her innermost thoughts; instead, she would take responsibility

Are you also Seeking Outside Approval?

Once upon a time, there was a young woman named Sarah who was very talented. She was a great artist, and she loved to paint. She would spend hours in her studio, creating beautiful works of art.

One day, Sarah decided to enter one of her paintings in a local art show. She was very excited about the show, and she couldn't wait to see how her painting would be received.

On the day of the show, Sarah arrived early and anxiously waited for the judges to arrive. When they finally did, she was so nervous that she could barely stand still.

The judges looked at all of the paintings, and Sarah's heart sank when she saw that her painting was not among the ones that they had chosen. She was so disappointed that she started to cry.

A kind woman who was standing next to Sarah saw that she was upset. She asked Sarah what was wrong, and Sarah told her about her painting.

The woman smiled and said, "Don't worry about it. You are a talented artist, and your painting is beautiful. Just because the judges didn't choose it doesn't mean that it's not good. You should be proud of yourself for entering the show."

Sarah thanked the woman for her kind words, and she started to feel a little bit better. She realized that she didn't need the approval of the judges to know that she was a good artist. She was her own best witness.

Sarah continued to paint, and she eventually became a successful artist. She never forgot the kind words of the woman at the art show, and she always remembered that she didn't need the approval of others to know that she was good enough.

The moral of the story is that we should not look for outside approval to validate our worth. We should be our own best witnesses. We know who we are and what we are capable of, and we should be proud of ourselves for that.
