Being a Lake Instead of Glass
The old Master instructed an unhappy young man to put a handful of salt in a glass of water and Then to drink it.
How does it taste? the Master asked. Awful, spat the apprentice. The Master chuckled and then asked the young man to take another handful of salt and put it in the lake. The two walked in silence to the nearby lake and when the apprentice swirled his handful of salt into the lake, the old man said, Now drink from the lake.
As the water dripped down the young man's chin, the Master asked, How does it taste? Good! remarked the apprentice. Do you taste the salt? asked the Master. No, said the young man. The Master sat beside this troubled young man, took his hands, and said, The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains the same, exactly the same. But the amount we taste the 'pain' depends on the container we put it into. So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things.
Stop being a Glass ,Become a LAKE!

Are you also Seeking Outside Approval?
Once upon a time, there was a young woman named Sarah who was very talented. She was a great artist, and she loved to paint. She would spend hours in her studio, creating beautiful works of art.
One day, Sarah decided to enter one of her paintings in a local art show. She was very excited about the show, and she couldn't wait to see how her painting would be received.
On the day of the show, Sarah arrived early and anxiously waited for the judges to arrive. When they finally did, she was so nervous that she could barely stand still.
The judges looked at all of the paintings, and Sarah's heart sank when she saw that her painting was not among the ones that they had chosen. She was so disappointed that she started to cry.
A kind woman who was standing next to Sarah saw that she was upset. She asked Sarah what was wrong, and Sarah told her about her painting.
The woman smiled and said, "Don't worry about it. You are a talented artist, and your painting is beautiful. Just because the judges didn't choose it doesn't mean that it's not good. You should be proud of yourself for entering the show."
Sarah thanked the woman for her kind words, and she started to feel a little bit better. She realized that she didn't need the approval of the judges to know that she was a good artist. She was her own best witness.
Sarah continued to paint, and she eventually became a successful artist. She never forgot the kind words of the woman at the art show, and she always remembered that she didn't need the approval of others to know that she was good enough.
The moral of the story is that we should not look for outside approval to validate our worth. We should be our own best witnesses. We know who we are and what we are capable of, and we should be proud of ourselves for that.

Strive not to be a Success, but Rather to be of Value.
Once upon a time, in a bustling town named Prospera, there lived a young and ambitious artist named Amelia. She possessed an exceptional talent for painting and possessed dreams of achieving great success and recognition in the art world. Amelia's passion burned bright, and she eagerly pursued her artistic endeavors with relentless determination.
As Amelia's skills grew, so did her aspirations. She yearned for her paintings to be displayed in prestigious galleries, sought after by collectors, and applauded by critics. Her single-minded pursuit of success led her to work tirelessly day and night, often sacrificing her own well-being and personal relationships for the sake of her art.
One day, while attending an art exhibition, Amelia stumbled upon an elderly man named Mr. Williams. He was renowned for his vast collection of art and his deep appreciation for the intrinsic value each artwork held. Intrigued by his perspective, Amelia struck up a conversation with him, sharing her ambitions and her relentless pursuit of success.
To Amelia's surprise, Mr. Williams listened attentively and then gently spoke, "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." These words resonated deeply within Amelia's soul. She realized that success, as she had defined it, was merely a fleeting pursuit of recognition and acclaim. Instead, she pondered the idea of creating art that had a profound impact on others, art that held meaning and touched the hearts of those who beheld it.
Inspired by Mr. Williams' wisdom, Amelia embarked on a transformative journey. She started exploring the stories, emotions, and experiences that were at the core of her being. Rather than chasing trends or conforming to expectations, she poured her heart and soul into her paintings, infusing them with her authentic voice.
As Amelia's artistic style evolved, so did the response from the audience. People were captivated by the raw emotions and profound messages embedded in her work. Each stroke of her brush told a story, and her paintings became windows to the human experience. They spoke of love, loss, joy, and resilience, resonating with the deepest corners of people's hearts.
Word spread about Amelia's remarkable art, and galleries clamored to showcase her creations. Collectors no longer sought her work merely for its monetary value, but rather for the emotional connection it invoked. Critics praised the authenticity and the impact of her paintings, recognizing the immense value they held for society.
Amelia had achieved a new kind of success – one that transcended personal fame and accolades. By striving to be of value, she had touched the lives of countless individuals, bringing solace, inspiration, and reflection to those who beheld her art. Her journey taught her that true success lies not in personal achievement but in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
And so, the story of Amelia became a testament to the power of being of value. Her paintings spoke to the hearts of people, reminding them that success is best measured by the impact we have on the world and the value we bring to the lives of others.
